I’m Dan Perlman and I own Blacktango Media. At Blacktango, we believe that applying real-world marketing, which we call Organic Marketing can allow emerging growth companies and bootstrap start-ups to compete with much larger rivals. We help these companies get the recognition and the customers they need to grow.
When we say Organic Marketing, we mean marketing which includes guerrilla and social media, inbound, outbound and product marketing.
I’ve been part of startups and Fortune 5 companies. I’ve run marketing in many bootstrap startups with no marketing budget. I know what it takes to succeed in that kind of environment.
I have more than 40 years of technical, marketing and management experience. Dan has focused on security, enterprise solutions, services, and online systems. In his eclectic career, he has served in the roles of VP, Marketing, VP, Information Technology and Leader of Consulting Practices. Dan has been involved in venture-backed start-ups, bootstraps, and large enterprises. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and done graduate work at Stanford University.
